PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for non-contact tracking an object in an energy field, under the presence of an article that interferes with the energy field. SOLUTION: An energy field, which is unperturbed at a plurality of prescribed frequencies, is generated near the object and the feature of a perturbed energy field which is induced in response to the unperturbed energy field is decided, by introducing the article that responses to the unperturbed energy field to the vicinity of the object. Then a plurality of obtained signals which respond to an unperturbed energy field generated at the position of the object after the article is introduced, and the perturbed energy field is received and the optimal frequency for the unperturbed energy field is decided from among the plurality of prescribed frequencies responsive to a parameter of the obtained signals. Then the spatical coordinates of the object responsive to the obtained signal having the optimum frequency is determined. |
