PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce weight, to facilitate handling and storage, and to improve strength and abrasion resistance of the tool main body surface by covering the surface of an aluminum-made tool main body with a nickel phosphorus alloy. SOLUTION: A material of a tool main body 2 is aluminum, and in the surface, a covering layer 18 of a nickel phosphorus alloy covers a recessed groove 4 before installing a cartridge 5 by chemical plating, but a screw hole of an adjusting bolt and the bolt hole 12 inside of a fastening bolt 6 are not covered. The covering layer 18 has an almost constant thickness (10 to 50μm). The tool main body 2 has an advantage of being lightweight, but is small in strength, hardness and abrasion resistance, and in a state of being not covered with the covering layer 18, a flaw and a defect are easily caused on the surface of a tool main body 2 when chips rub and pass at cutting work time, but since the surface of the tool main body 2 is covered with the covering layer 18 of a nickel phosphorus alloy, strength and abrasion resistance of the surface of the tool main body 2 are remarkably improved, so that a flaw and a defect are not caused even if the chips rub the tool main body 2.
