PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten imaging time of an image without lowering accuracy of correction of body movement in an MRI photographing contg. navigation echo. SOLUTION: At least one RF radiation pulse is applied and then, a phase encoded inclining magnetic field pulse and a read-out inclining magnetic field pulse are applied and a step for detecting m pieces of nuclear magnetic resonance signals (echos) is repeated to obtain the whole echos necessary for reconstitution of an MR image. In this instance, a plurality of (n pieces of) steps are made to be one set to obtain one navigation echo signal for monitoring body movement on at least one direction in each set and by correcting a plurality (n×m) of main measured echos obtd. in the set with navigation echo signals, body movement of a subject is corrected.
