摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the withstand load, and to simplify the structure in a slide rail formed by arranging plural balls between a fixed rail and a movable rail by forming the fixed rail into a hollow quadrangular prism shape. SOLUTION: This slide rail is formed by using a common steel material, alloy steel material, stainless steel material or nonferrous metal such as aluminum alloy and nickel alloy. A fixed rail 1 is formed into a hollow quadrangular prism shape 11 having a recessed curved surface 5 in an upper and a lower parts thereof. A movable rail 2 is formed with a projecting curved surface 6 in an upper and a lower parts thereof. The predetermined number of balls 3 are inserted between the recessed curved surface 5 of the fixed rail 1 and the projecting curved surface 6 of the movable rail 2, and the balls 3 are held by a ball retainer 4, which is provided with holes with an equal space so as to prevent the interference of the balls with each other, freely to be turned, and the fixed rail 1 is inserted into the movable rail 2 freely to be slid. With this structure, withstand load of the fixed rail 1 is increased so as to improve the strength.
