PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vibrational racing in a locomotive provided with a wheel racing prevention device. SOLUTION: A solenoid valve 7 is provided in a passage for communicating a bellows 4 which is an air spring main body with an auxiliary tank 5. Usually, the solenoid valve 7 is opened. When the phenomenon (vibrational racing) repeated vibrationally the racing and re-adhesion of a wheel is generated, a control device 12 opens the solenoid valve 7 when the integrated number of a vibrational racing calculated by a counter 11 exceeds a prescribed number. Then, the spring constant of the air spring is lowered and the peculiar number of vibration of a vibration system is lowered. Thereby, the break up of an adhesion is prevented by the lightening of the shaft weight at the moment begin to adhere.
