PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for optical disk substrate, having good moldability, especially good transferability, and slight in disk warpage associated with environmental change. SOLUTION: This resin composition for optical disk substrate comprises 99.5-65 wt.% of a 1st noncrystalline thermoplastic resin (component A) and 0.5-35 wt.% of a 2nd noncrystalline thermoplastic resin having a glass transition temperature (Tg) 2-70 deg.C lower than that of the component A (component B); wherein it is characteristic that the difference of the solubility parameter (δ) for both the resins (δA-δB) meets the relationship: (δA-δB)>=0.5 (δA and δB are the solubility parameters of the components A and B, respectively) and both the resins are incompatible with each other. |
