PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular belt whose bending in a cylinder can be prevented and which does not give an unpleasant touch, when trousers or the like is worn. SOLUTION: This circular belt 33 is formed by connecting both the ends of a belt 1 to each other. A body to be tightened is inserted into the ring portion of the circular belt 33. The circular belt 33 is inserted into the cylindrical portion of the trousers worn by the body to be tightened. The belt 1 is a woven fabric comprising warps and wefts or a knitted fabric. The back side 10 of the belt 1 is flat. A plurality of approximately rectangular projections 12 are disposed on the front side 11 at a distance in the longitudinal direction so that a pair of width direction end sides in the width direction of the belt 1 are parallel to each other in the longitudinal direction. The projections 12 have an elastic property which is elastic in the longitudinal direction. The belt 1 is elastic in the longitudinal direction to tighten the body to be tightened.
