CLONING AND CHARACTERIZATION OF G+C-RICH PROMOTER BINDING PROTEIN

The present disclosure pertains to the fields of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, and more specifically to the field of Transcription Regulation. A novel transcription regulator of G+C rich promoters, the murine G+C rich Promoter Binding Protein (mGPBP) and its interaction pattern with other transcription factors are disclosed. A human homologue of mGPBP, hGPBP, is described as well.
