PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display data switching device capable of always displaying an optimum image on the monitor by automatically adjusting display data from a plurality of information processors when the plurality of the information processor are connected to one monitor, and to provide a display monitor. SOLUTION: In the display data switching device and the display monitor of the invention, optimization information of display adjusting information is stored in a storage means for each connected information processor and display data category, and according to the connected information processor and the display data category, the monitor is set by the stored optimization information. When the optimization information of the display adjusting information is not recorded, the display data are adjusted by a display adjusting function of the monitor and the display adjusting information is registered in the storage means.
