PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly detect slip of a generator driving belt, thereby avoiding such a disadvantage that unnecessary slip prevention is performed or that required slip prevention is not performed. SOLUTION: A ripple cycle T of generated voltage V of a three-phase generator is measured in S11 to S14. In S15, the number of revolutions of the generator is presumed based on the ripple cycle T and it is checked whether a slip ratio of the generator driving belt is within a predetermined range or not, by comparing the number of revolutions of the generator with that of an engine. In the case where the slip ratio of the generator driving belt is over the predetermined range, when it is judged in S16 that the ripple height of the generated voltage V is equal to or more than a set value (at which the generated voltage may bring the belt into a slipping state) and also when it is judged in S17 that the slip judgement in S15 has continued for a certain period of time or more, it is judged in S18 that the belt is in a slipping state such that the durability of the belt is deteriorated. At the time of the judgement, the generation load is decreased to prevent the slip of the belt. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
