An inner pot for an electric pressure cooker and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce cooking time and prevent scorch of rice within an inner pot by forming a plurality of dimples on the inner surface of an inner pot, which generates more active convection within the inner pot, thereby ensuring uniform cooking of foods. An inner pot(100) for an electric pressure cooker is characterized by having a plurality of dimples(102) on an inner surface of the inner pot. The inner pot comprises a base layer that is made of a metal material that generates heat by a line of magnetic force produced by induction current, and covers a shape of the inner pot, a copper-plated layer that covers an outer surface of the base layer, and a coating layer that covers an inner surface of the inner pot. A manufacturing method of an inner pot for an electric pressure cooker comprises the steps of: rolling a metal plate that generates heat by a line of magnetic force produced by induction current for forming a plurality of dimples on the upper and lower surfaces; forming the rolled plate in a shape of an inner pot; and respectively coating and copper-plating the inner and outer surfaces of the formed pot. |
