PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the irregularity of image density due to the shape of a blade occurring because developer is supplied to a developer carrier by a spiral screw. SOLUTION: This developing device 4 possesses a developing roller 28, a sectioned slit-shaped developer supply path 32 provided above the roller 28, a recovery screw 26 recovering the developer which has finished a developing stage, a longitudinal carrying screw 36 mixing and stirring the recovered developer with the supplied toner and carrying the developer and the toner upward, and a replenishing screw 30 replenishing the path 32 with the developer while carrying the mixed and stirred developer. |
