<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the installation of platform doors even if the number, the position, and the width dimension of exits of a train mutually differ. <P>SOLUTION: In the figure 2, when train 201 arrives at a platform, an opening part (a) of the platform door (a) is in a fully opened condition, doors Rb, Lb of an opening part b of the platform door b are in a fully closed condition, an opening part c of the platform door c is in a fully opened condition, doors Rd, Ld of an opening part d of the platform door d are in a fully closed condition, and an opening part e of the platform door e is in a fully opened condition. These data are registered in individual controllers a to e as command values as type information of the train in advance, respectively. Travel distance for opening and closing each platform door is determined by corresponding to type information of each train.
