<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card mounted with an IC module having excellent reliability and durability to an ATM (Automatic teller machine) insertion/extraction test by devising a recessed part shape of a card substrate to be mounted with the IC module, and to provide a production method for the IC card. <P>SOLUTION: In this IC card, the IC module 30 having a projection-shaped mold resin part 32 is fixed and mounted in a recessed part 20 comprising a first recessed part 21 formed in one face of the card substrate 11, a second recessed part 22, and a third recessed part 23 having at least one curved projecting part 23a in a side face through a hot melt adhesive layer 41a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
