A jog dial for vehicles using electromagnetic force preventing the malfunction is provided to implement a function selection/operation implementation through tactile sensibility and magnetic force by using electromagnetic force. A protrusion unit(15) having a through hole is extended due to the lower part of an upper body(10). A sensor(14) is installed on a lower end part of the protrusion unit. The upper part of a core is inserted into a guide hole in order to elastically support the upper body. The penetration hole in which the lower part of core is inserted is formed on the top of the body of the lower part. When the upper body rotates, a plurality of reference sensors is selectively contacted with the detection sensor. A coil generated the electromechanical power is reeled in the inner circumference of the penetration hole.
