<p>The radiator (1) has a housing (2) comprising side walls (2a, 2b) in which a radiating body (3) is arranged. The radiating body is heated at its rear side (4) within an interior of the housing by a fluid e.g. gas-/air mixture, combusted in a combustion chamber (6), where an infrared radiation is provided by an externally visible front surface (5) of the radiating body. The radiating body is in proximity to a fibrous material sheet that passes in a driving direction. The side walls not completely enclose the combustion chamber, and are supported in a thermal insulation (9).</p> |
