The present invention provides an autonomous mobile cleaner, not using supersonic waves when a cleaner body follows a suction unit to prevent supersonic wave signals from being intercepted by an obstacle between the cleaner body and the suction unit or to prevent a wrong operation by supersonic wave signals reflected on surrounding objects, which comprises; the cleaner body; the suction unit provided with a handle and sucking surrounding foreign materials; an air pipe connecting the cleaner body to the suction unit to guide the foreign materials to the cleaner body; at least one driving wheel installed at a lower part of the cleaner body; a driving unit driving the driving wheel by operation of a driving motor; a wheel sensor sensing rotation of the driving wheel; and a control unit controlling movement of the cleaner body via the driving unit based on the rotation of the driving wheel sensed by the wheel sensor. |
