PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a point management server, a point management method, and its program capable of performing a point service by specifying a purchased commodity or a utilized service. SOLUTION: A point code generation processing section 23a generates a point code comprising a pre-code added to the commodity or the service as an inherent code and a management code wholly determined by the pre-code. A point information DB 22a stores the information including the point information generated by the point code correlatively with the point code. A point code retrieval processing section 23b retrieves the point code corresponding to the pre-code in reference to the point information DB 22a based on the received pre-code. A user information DB 22b stores the point information corresponding to the retrieved point code correlatively with the user information.
