PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such the problem that a high quality image cannot be output.SOLUTION: A high quality image can be output by an image processing apparatus including: a storage unit capable of storing one lookup table having two or more pieces of association information for associating the whole or a part of one or more first images with the whole or a part of a second image different from the first image, or two or more lookup tables having one or more pieces of association information; an image analysis part acquiring one or more feature amounts corresponding to the whole or a part of an input image; a mapping part for performing one operation between an operation for selecting one or more pieces of association information from the one lookup table and an operation for selecting the lookup table and one or more pieces of association information that the lookup table has on the basis of the one or more feature amounts and acquiring the whole or a part of the one or more second images corresponding to the whole or a part of the input image by using the one or more pieces of selected association information; and an image output part for outputting an output image configured of the second image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
