[Problem] To provide an information processing device, an information processing method and a program which make it possible to project an image onto an appropriate projection destination while reducing a user's work in the projection of the image. [Solution] Provided are: an information processing device provided with, a three-dimensional information acquisition unit that acquires three-dimensional information indicating the placement of an object, and a projection control unit that on the basis of the three-dimensional information acquired by the three-dimensional information acquisition unit, determines a projection area onto which an image is to be projected in a space in which the object is disposed; an information processing method; and a program.
