PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize electronic settlement in online shopping while securing secrecy of identification information of a user. SOLUTION: An online shop server device 6 provides information about a commodity, and a mobile communication terminal device 1 transmits the identification information of the user to an authentication server device 3 through a subscriber line and requests purchase approval information representing permission for the purchase of a desired commodity. The authentication server device 3 transmits purchase approval information to the mobile communication terminal device 1 if the purchase of the commodity is permitted. In receipt of the purchase approval information, the mobile communication terminal device 1 transmits the purchase approval information to a settlement server device 5. The settlement server device 5 transmits the purchase approval information to the authentication server device 3. If the authentication server device 3 determines that the purchase approval information is correct, the settlement server device 5 carries out settlement of a charge for the commodity. |
