PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a metal powder deposited on a cornea, when operated, by using a spatula as it is which is always used for refraction correcting operation carried out using a microkeratom. SOLUTION: A tip end 1 of the spatula is magnetized. In this case, magnetization can be established in the condition of always or temporarily keeping magnetic coercive force. Otherwise, a magnet 3 is arranged near the base of the tip end 1 inserted in a shank 2. Otherwise, a coil 4 is arranged near the base of the tip end 1 inserted in the shank 2 and a current switch 5 for energizing the coil 4 is mounted on the shank 2. The metal powder is deposited on the magnetized or excited tip end 1 and then removed therefrom. |
