PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively assist a motion of a person in recovering from a forward-bending posture and a leg bending posture.SOLUTION: A muscular strength assisting device 1 comprises: a first assisting unit 10 including a first actuator 11 having a first body side arrangement part 11A fitted to a shoulder part; a second assisting unit 20 including a second actuator 21 having a second body side arrangement part 21A fitted to a lumbar part and a second outside arrangement part 21B fitted to a first outside arrangement part 11B of the first actuator 11; a third assisting unit 30 including a third actuator 31 having a third body side arrangement part 31A fitted to a thigh part and a third outside arrangement part 31B fitted to the second outside arrangement part 21B of the second actuator 21; and a controller 50 operated so as to separate the second outside arrangement part 21B of the second actuator 21 from the lumbar part before operating the actuators 11, 31.
