PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which a display module and a protective member are firmly joined together by preventing pure curing of a photocurable resin, and to provide a method for manufacturing a display device.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a display device comprises the following steps of: applying a photocurable resin 4 onto a display module 3; arranging a transparent protective member 1 so that the photocurable resin 4 is sandwiched between the protective member 1 and the display module 3; irradiating the photocurable resin 4 with light from the protective member 1 side; and forming a light shielding pattern 2 on the protective member 1 after curing the photocurable resin 4 by light irradiation. |
