PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray device and a method improved in a point capable of forming a sliced image in a large examination area in a short time. SOLUTION: An X-ray source 1 and an X-ray detector 2 are so disposed as to be static during catching an X-ray projection image so as to form the sliced image of a large object to be inspected or its large part in a possible short time. A control device 5 is constituted to select the moving speed of the object 4 to be inspected and a moment of catching the X-ray projection image so that all the points to be radiographed in the examination area of the object to be inspected are radiographed in, at least, 10 or preferably, at least, 50 different X-ray projection images.
