PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compositions comprising hydroxyl-containing poly(alkylene phosphates) which have low contents of undesired phosphorus-containing compounds, and methods of producing the same.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a composition comprising at least one hydroxyl-containing poly(alkylene phosphate) represented by formula (I).
