PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire and a cable with superior fire retardancy and mechanical property and good workability. SOLUTION: The wire comprises a conductor 2 coated with an insulator, the insulator consisting of a first layer formed of a non-halogen fire retardant resin composition and located on the conductor 2 and a second layer formed of a non-halogen fire retardant resin composition to which a silicone compound and a paraffin wax are added for coating the first layer at its outside. |
