摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent securely the leaking of air from a non-operated burner into a furnace and to improve the combustion efficiency of a boiler by performing a super low air pressure superflous combustion operation by a method wherein exhaust gasses discharged from the furnace are introduced into sealing sections of an opening and closing member of the burner. CONSTITUTION:Sealing members 20 and 21 are arranged on the outer periphery of a burner throat 6 and the inner side of a passage wall 4, respectively, in such a manner that the openings of the sealing members face gaps formed at both ends of the opening and closing member 7. Further, an air pre-heater 13 is attached to the boiler so as to serve as a pressurizing means adopted to make the exhaust gas pressure for sealing higher than the pressure of primary air flowing through an air passage 5. Thus the exhaust gasses introduced into the upper half part of a cylindrical body 14 of the air pre-heater 13 leaks into the air side from the gas side of the body 14 by flowing along the rotational direction of the body 14 and are pressurized by the pressure of supplied air so that the pressurized exhaust gasses are collected by a collecting member 22 and supplied to the sealing members 20 and 21 through a supply pipe 23. Consequently, it is possible to prevent simply and accurately the leaking of air into the furnace 1 by sealing the gaps on both ends of the opening and closing member 7 of the burner 3 in a non- operated condition whereby the super low air pressure superfluous combustion is attained to improve the combustion efficiency of the boiler.
