PURPOSE:To test the sliding of a brush contact under various conditions by supporting the middle of an arm which couples with a clamper at one terminal and a tension gauge at the other on a post, and moving up and down a disk which contacts with the brush contact at variable speeds. CONSTITUTION:A sample disk 15 is held on the streak holder 16 of a disk rotating holder 2, and the brush contact 8 is clamped at a clamping part 9 at one end of the arm 4 of each brush contact holder 1. Then, the arm 4 is rotated around a rotating shaft to set contact pressure to a disk 15 at the contact 8 optionally by a tension gauge 14. At the same time, each holder 16 is moved up and down to set a contact angle. When a motor 19 is rotated in this state, respective disks 15 rotate at different speeds because they are connected at different rotation ratios, and consequently the plural disks are tested at the same time under various test conditions in the single sliding test. |
