The invention relates to a valve device which consists of two housing parts made of plastic and has several pressure-medium connections. According to Fig. 2, a threaded insert (40) is provided in each pressure-medium connection (39). The threaded insert (40) serves to connect a pressure-medium line coupling, likewise provided with a thread, to the pressure-medium connection. The threaded insert has a recess (45, 44) which runs in the peripheral direction and into which an encircling projection (43) of the pressure-medium connection (39) extends. The projection (43) is dimensioned in such a way that a sealing ring (41), which serves to seal off a pressure-medium line coupling from the pressure-medium connection (39), rests with its mean diameter on the gap (42) between the wall of the pressure-medium connection (39) and the circumferential surface of the threaded insert (40). <IMAGE>
