Date Apr. 21, 1988.A cooling mechanism for a clutch cover assembly having a diaphragm spring with radially extending tongues and slits between such tongues characterized by that on spaced of the tongues and adjacent to the clutch cover body are disposed vane members having vanes projecting at the slits of such spaced tongues for feeding cooling air into the slits and vane supports formed integrally with the vanes for fixing the vane members to the tongues. The air is discharged through ventilation ports in the clutch cover.
