PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium dispensing with an initializing stage, having high shelf stability and applicable to a high density recording medium. SOLUTION: A lower dielectric layer 12, a crystallization promoting layer 13, a recording layer 14, an upper dielectric layer 15, a reflective radiation layer 16 and a protective layer 17 are successively laminated on a substrate 11. The crystallization promoting layer 13 is formed in <=5 nm massive film thickness from Bi and/or a Bi compound. The recording layer 14 is composed of Sb-Te-In. The composition ratio of In in the total composition of the crystallization promoting layer 13 and the recording layer 14 is not more than the composition ratio of Bi in the total composition of the crystallization promoting layer 13 and the recording layer 14. |
