<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a reproduced image of a satisfactory picture quality even when plain paper is used by a simple constitution by using an image carrier formed in negative chargeability and a specific magnetic developer. CONSTITUTION:When an optical signal corresponding to an original picture is radiated from the back of an image carrier through an optical signal radiating means 12, there is no potential difference between the part which is not irradiated with light, on the surface of the image carrier 1 and a developing roll 5, and a potential difference is generated between the part irradiated with light and the developing roll 5, therefore, a toner in a magnetic developer 6 adheres to its part and is developed as a toner image. In such a developing, this method uses the image carrier 1 formed in negative chargeability, and a magnetic developer 6 obtained by mixing a negative chargeability toner formed in 10<2>-10<8>OMEGA.cm volume specific resistance and 5-20mum average particle diameter, and a negative chargeability magnetic particle formed in 10<3>-10<12>OMEGA.cm and 10-100mum average particle diameter.</p> |
