<p>PURPOSE:To provide an automatic dimming device for a camera for correcting the deviation of a photometry area caused by a positional difference between a shutter curtain surface and a film surface and having an equal photometry object area at a time of emitting preliminary light and at a time of emitting normal light. CONSTITUTION:C and A respectively denote intersections of the optical axis of a photographic lens 3 with the shutter curtain surface 12 and the film surface 15. The optical axis 16 of a condensing lens 13 for flash photometry is arranged so that it may pass through the point C at the time of measuring the emitted preliminary light. The optical axis 16 is rotated only by the angle (d) and oriented so that it may pass through the point A prior to the start of emitting the normal light after emitting the preliminary light is finished, and then, the emitted normal light is measured in this state.</p> |
