PURPOSE:To make the control of generated power possible without making an instruction wave height unduly small by controlling both of a current amplitude and a slip frequency by generating a signal of a predetermined pulse width at every timing of a commutation sync signal and providing a PWM enabling control section that uses this signal as a PWM disable signal. CONSTITUTION:A PWM enabling control circuit 15 generates a pulse signal that is in synchronism with commutation cycles, and supplies a PWM control circuit 14 with this pulse signal as a PWM enable signal EPWM. By making the 30 deg. latter half of a commutation cycle that corresponds to an electrical angle of 60 deg. a PWM disable period, a slip frequency is reduced from the case of not disabling the PWM. Therefore, even with the same instruction wave height, the generated power is reduced from the conventional cases to extend the control to a smaller power generation range. It is also possible to control generated electric energy by controlling the PWM disable period. With the ability to stably generate a small power even down to a zero power, the device is not only compact and inexpensive but also superior in performance.
|
