<p>PURPOSE:To provide a gas insulated switchgear suitable for UHV system in which design freedom is ensured and overall downsizing is realized by improving arrangement and connection of a third arrester. CONSTITUTION:The gas insulated switchgear comprises a circuit breaker 22, a bushing 24, a bus 15 connecting the circuit breaker 22 and the bushing 24, and three arresters 10-12 disposed on the line side of the circuit breaker 22. First arrester 10 is disposed closely to the circuit breaker whereas second and third arresters 11, 12 are disposed on the opposite sides of the bushing connecting bus 15 in the vicinity of the bushing 24.</p> |
