PURPOSE: A device for emitting light is provided to achieve improved user convenience and prevent motor vehicle door from being scratched by permitting light to be emitted when the user pulls and releases the motor vehicle door handle. CONSTITUTION: A device comprises a return unit(1) for returning a motor vehicle door to the original position when the motor vehicle door is pulled and released by a user. The return unit contacts copper plates(3,4) so as to be connected to a power, and a lamp bulb(7) arranged beneath a door lock(6) is turned on. Consequently, the light emitted from the lamp bulb is transmitted to outside through a hole formed at the bottom surface of the door lock. The transmitted light allows a user to easily search the locking hole especially during the night time.
