RESIN COMPOSITION FOR IMAGE RECORDING MEDIUM

PURPOSE:To provide a resin composition for image recording medium of superior resistance to light and resistance to heat stability. CONSTITUTION:A composition contains a polyurethane resin prepared by reacting one polyester polyol (A) having the number average molecular weight of 500-8000 and the glass transition temperature of 15 deg.C or over, an organic isocyanate (B) and a chain extender (C) having an active hydrogen under the condition of active hydrogen/isocyanate > 1.0 (equivalent ratio). A dicarbonic acid component of the polyester polyol (A) is composed mainly of an alicyclic dicarboxylic acid, and a glycol component is at least one kind of glycol elected from the group consisting of alkylene glycol o 1-10C and alicyclic glycol.
