A vehicle anti-theft immobiliser or vehicle wheel restrainer comprises a metal bar (2) to be secured to the wheel (3) via one or more of the wheel bolts (4, 4a) or, as the case may be, nuts used for keeping the wheel (3) on the vehicle. The bar (2) has provided therein two through holes to receive in rotationally fixed relationship to the bar (2) a lengthened vehicle wheel bolt (4, 4a) or nut. The bar (2) is adapted to engage with the wheel (3) for rotation therewith, which adaptation normally lies in the feature of the bar (2) having holes to engage with a plurality of wheel bolts (4, 4a) or nuts. The bar (2) is of such a length and adapted to associate with wheel bolt(s) (4, 4a) or nut(s) at such a position on the bar (2) that, when secured to a wheel (3), at least one end thereof extends beyond the circumference of the wheel (3). <IMAGE> |
