In fossil-fuelled power stations with flue gas discharge (8) via a cooling tower, it is proposed that, during the start-up stage of the power station, heat be supplied to the cooling air in the cooling water in order to balance the immission conditions on starting with those of stand-by operation. In order to apply said process economically it is also proposed that, immediately before the power station is shut down, process or exhaust heat be collected in the cooling water and stored in the cooling tower tank (7) to such an extent that the stored heat (7) is at least partially sufficient to obtain dissipation conditions during start-up which are comparable to those during stand-by.
|
