PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preferentially obtain plural conversion candidates of high use frequency by executing a selected analytic program by a central arithmetic processor. SOLUTION: A character string inputted from an input device 1 such as a keyboard is stored in a storage device 3. On the basis of learning data such as variation data and word information in a dictionary, etc., the central arithmetic processor 2 executes a processing program and outputs the processing result to an output device 4 such as a CRT. In this processing program, two analytic programs which are different in the ordering of conversion candidates are prepared. The central arithmetic processor 2 performs KANA and KANJI mixed conversion through a converting process 1 when the converting process is actuated with a conversion start key 1. When it is actuated with a conversion start key 2, the KANA and KANJI mixed conversion is performed through a converting process 2. |
