PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position monitor system by which position information of a plurality of mobile terminal equipments is concentratedly monitored and displayed without the need for making a call by the user for the purpose by avoiding inconvenience in a conventional PHS system that a phone call has been required to recognize where the opposite party is resident between users. SOLUTION: The position monitor system is provided with a position information receiver 4 provided with a reception function receiving information from a public network and a display device 5 that is connected to the position information receiver 4, converts an area code into an area name and displays the name, and when a specific key is depressed, a mobile terminal equipment 1 makes a call to the position information receiver 4 to send its own terminal number and the entered area name code to the receiver 4, and the position information receiver 4 sends the received terminal number and the area name code to the display device 5, which displays the terminal number and the area name at which the terminal equipment is placed. |
