PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test medium that has less fluctuation in recorded/ reproduced signals on the recording region with less change over aging and is particularly suitable to test or adjust a drive. SOLUTION: In an optical recording medium, an optical recording layer is formed directly or through another layer on the surface of the base which has guide grooves, and further, a reflector layer is formed on this optical recording layer, directly or through another layer. The medium of this invention is featured in that the depth variation of the guide grooves is 9% or less. |
