PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for managing collected parts which are suitable for increasing the utilization of recycled parts in collected equipment. SOLUTION: This system is provided with equipment connected to a LAN, a public line or the Internet network such as a facsimile machine 16 and copying machines 14 and 15, and a host unit 11 for collecting information stored in each of equipment to make the information into a database and storing and managing the database. Also, the host device 11 selects recyclable parts when collected according to the operating condition of user equipment based on the information stored in the database and preliminarily inputted conditions and notifies a separation and collection base or a production line of the recyclable parts before collecting the equipment. |
