PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the installation device of a mechanical underground parking device and its installation device capable of effectively installing a high rack (housing shelf) in a limited space in an underground parking space without mounting material on a building itself of a traveling rail or the like. SOLUTION: The installation device of a mechanical underground parking device is provided with a traveling carriage for horizontally traveling in a parking space along a housing shelf 7. The installation device is provided with an installation carriage 12 capable of traveling on a traveling rail 9 for the traveling carriage of the parking device, a plurality of elongated tower members 14 capable of vertically being mounted on and connected to the installation carriage, a turning arm 16 capable of being turnably mounted on the upper end of the tower member and extending horizontally, and a hanging device 18 capable of lateral traveling along the turning arm. A first section rack 7a composing the housing shelf 7 is assembled by means of the installation device, next, a second section rack 7b is hung up to be connected to the first section rack, movement is performed along the traveling rail as these are repeated.
