PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple stage for simplifying the development and folding operation of a top board without preventing movement by the slight irregularities, obstruction or the like of a floor face. SOLUTION: The simple stage is provided with a top board connection mechanism 9 synchronizing a pair of top boards 1 and performing development and folding operation, a support leg 2 provided on each top board, grounded on a floor face in at lest a use position P and supporting the top board 1, a leg body 3 supported on each top board and providing a caster 3 on the rotation end, and a leg body drive mechanism 4 rotating the leg body 3 together with the development and folding operation of the top board 1. The leg body drive mechanism 4 separates the caster 31 from the floor face at the use position P, the caster 31 is grounded on the floor face at a folding position, and the leg body 3 is rotated so that the support leg 2 and the outward end of the top board 1 are positioned upward from the center C of the wheel of the caster 31.
