PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oiling guide enabling a traveling filament yarn to be uniformly oiled with a lubricant without the deviated flow of the lubricant affected by airflow going together with the filament yarn traveling in a non- bundled state. SOLUTION: This oiling guide 1 for a filament yarn 2 traveling in a non- bundled state has a yarn contact width regulation groove 3 provided along the travel pathway of the yarn 2, a yarn contact face 4 provided either planarly or projectedly on the bottom of the groove 3, a lubricant receptacle groove 5 engraved on the yarn contact face 4 along the direction crossing the traveling yarn 2 slightly extendedly from both ends of the width of the above groove 3, and a lubricant feed port 7 opened on the bottom 6 of the receptacle groove 5.
