<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic cyclic device by which HTML data is automatically collected with a network in the shortest time. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a communication means 1 for performing access to the network, an input device 2 for inputting URL for access, a display device 3 for displaying HTML data or the like which is obtained from the network, a storage device 4 for storing data obtained from the network, an agent means 5 for permitting an agent which moves terminal equipment connected to the network and obtains required information to patrol, an HTML obtaining means 6 for obtaining HTML data from the network, an HTML date and size obtaining means 7 for obtaining the date and size of HTML data from the network and a control means 9 for controlling respective means and respective devices. The agent means obtains HTML data with the same file name, date and size from terminal equipment without obtaining HTML data from a WWW server.</p> |
