PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game apparatus and a game control method which enable displaying of items and magics to be indicated at a location that facilitates the selection thereof in a list display. SOLUTION: In the game apparatus which enables execution of games according to a game program, it is provided with a list display means (S14) which displays objects available for the characters players are operating in a list, a selection means (S18) which lets the players select the objects available for the characters from those on display using the list display means and a display control means (S19) which controls the sequence of displaying the objects to be made available in a list by the list display means according to the application states of the objects available as selected by the selection means.
