PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for purifying an N-substituted unsaturated amide, capable of obtaining the high quality N-substituted unsaturated amide crystal containing less amount of impurity. SOLUTION: This method for purifying the N-substituted unsaturated amide is characterized by precipitating the N-substituted unsaturated amide crystal in water or in an aqueous solution of a lower aliphatic alcohol.
